Paige has also received FDA-clearance for our digital viewer, FullFocusTM and recently, CE-IVD clearance in Europe and UK for our diagnostic AI in prostate and breast cancer. We have also established multiple relationships with biopharma, laboratory and equipment manufacturers that enables Paige to develop a full solution for busy laboratories, ready to help patients receive better diagnoses and treatment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team.  In this position you will interface with all functions of our company and play a key role in ensuring our continued success.

We are all working from home and when it is safe to return, this position will be based in our NYC office located in Times Square. 


Finance Operations (40%)

  • Build, lead and own all billing operations
  • Understand all components of the order-to-cash process, including sales orders, quotes and pricing in
  • Participate in sales contract review and provide guidance on revenue accounting and billing treatment
  • Coordinate with the sales team on all billing information
  • Draft and distribute customer invoices
  • Understand sales products and recording transactions using advanced revenue module features in an accounting ERP platform
  • Process all customer remittances, cash collections and invoice disputes and discrepancies
  • Coordinate with the accounts payable team to properly record all associated product and revenue costs
  • Review vendor invoices to properly allocate costs to each product and sales contract
  • Coordinate and track all commission and contract costs for each sales contract
  • Serve as a strategic partner to management and other cross-functional teams for sales and revenue financial analysis and budgets
  • Lead change management, process improvements and system enhancements to support automation and efficiencies across the finance organization

Financial Close (15%)

  • Perform monthly accounts receivable review and reconciliations
  • Perform detailed customer billing analysis
  • Prepare monthly revenue schedules
  • Prepare monthly cost of revenue schedules
  • Assist the financial close process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including drafting certain financial statements and footnote disclosures

Technical Accounting / Revenue Recognition (25%)

  • Lead collaboration with our cross-functional partners to provide revenue recognition support
  • Apply technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and prepare technical accounting memos on all key accounting matters.
  • Research technical accounting matters and draft technical accounting memos
  • Understand and develop revenue recognition policies consistent with ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance
  • Understand and implement controls and procedures to be in compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance

Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (12%)

  • Lead and manage scoping and risk assessment strategy
  • Conduct and document walkthrough transactions, including mapping of all processes and transactions
  • Manage the scoping, risk assessment strategy and documentation of all financially significant IT general controls and systems
  • Identify, design and remediate internal controls over financial reporting
  • Utilize software tools to automate and document internal controls over financial reporting

Taxation (8%)

  • Support sales and use tax calculations and compliance
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA license or taking proactive steps to passing the CPA exam is preferred
  • 4+ years of corporate or startup accounting experience, with previous big-four public accounting experience a plus, but not required
  • Understanding in applying GAAP research methodologies
  • Proficiency in Excel is required (pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge in accounting ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Cross collaborative - both internally across the organization and externally
