Paige is a software company helping pathologists and clinicians make faster, more informed diagnostic and treatment decisions by mining decades of data from the world’s experts in cancer care. We are leading a digital transformation in pathology by leveraging advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create value for the oncology clinical team.

We are the first company to develop clinical grade AI tools for the pathologist, which resulted in our receiving FDA breakthrough designation for our first product. Paige has also received FDA-clearance for our digital viewer, FullFocus™. We have also established multiple relationships with biopharma, laboratory, and equipment manufacturers that enables Paige to develop an ecosystem ready to help patients receive better diagnoses and treatment.

We are seeking a VP, Global Payor & Relations to join our team. 

This position can be based anywhere in the United States.  We are all working remotely, however when it's safe to return, you are welcome to join us in our gorgeous NYC office. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the efforts to demonstrate the incremental value of Paige’s products to justify reimbursement from governments and private payors
  • Work with the clinical evidence team to craft studies with partner institutions to demonstrate health economic impacts for Paige products
  • Liaise with appropriate agencies (AMA, CMS, etc.) to obtain CPT codes or other designations for Paige products, specific to their use cases, that will form the basis to bill for their use
  • Work with payors to establish a competitive fee schedule for Paige services
  • Work with clients to optimize billing strategies
  • Assess impact of billing strategy and pivot to alternative strategies as needed
  • Apply similar processes for reimbursement in the global market
  • Interface with the biopharma team to assess reimbursement opportunities from industry partners and strategize to optimize commercial revenue
  • Work with professional and patient advocacy groups to harmonize support to incorporate computer-assisted diagnosis into pathology practice

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Healthcare Payer or Provider industry
  • Well versed in payer industry market trends and industry-leading practices to develop insights and provide recommendations
  • Proficient with product strategy, business model development, and top line growth
  • Proven business development success and sales experience in identifying and recommending new opportunities and initiatives for continual growth
  • Demonstrated experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Ability to articulate complicated ideas and strategies in a clear, concise fashion
